Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lhasa
The professional guide will expect you at the Gongga Airport with comfortable private transfer. Drive to downtown Lhasa, which is the highest located city in the world with the attitude of 3,650 meters above the sea level.
Day 2: Lhasa (B)
Make the most of the day by the in-depth religious adventure to the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a local Tibetan family.
Day 3: Lhasa (B)
The escorted tours today will cover some other highlights of Lhasa - the Drepung Monastery, the Jokhang Temple, the perfect mixture of Han and Tibetan style both in the architectures and in the rituals of the Religion; the bustling bazaar along the Barkhor Street, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.
Day 4: Lhasa - Yangpanchen - Damxung (B)
Drive northwards to Damxung in the morning. Stop off on the way to visit the famous geothermal energy Yangpachen. Check into your hotel.
Day 5: Damxung - Heavenly Lake Namtso - Lhasa (B)
You will be thrilled when visiting the Namtso Lake, which is called Heavenly Lake in Tibet. At the same time, enjoy the wonderful landscape of grassland around the lake. Back to Lhasa by car and check into your hotel.
Day 6: Departure from Lhasa (B)
The last visit is to see the Tibet Museum if time permits. Your guide will see you off at the airport with comfortable private transfer.
